Being Naked Priceless – For Everything Else Your Body and Spirit Pays

Checking out the crab apples from the back alley behind our garden.

It’s a cold. cloudy and windy day here on the Canadian prairies. At 14 C (57 F) and everything still wet from a morning rain, I am glad to be indoors doing indoor things that have been put off for some time. I got most of the outdoor projects done for our departure in seven more sleeps as my grandchildren would say in a countdown. The forecast for the next week promises to be a lot cooler than one could wish for in what is to be considered as summer.

Today’s photo was taken yesterday as I was checking out the crab apples on our tree which were overhanging the back lane outside of our yard. It was absolutely empowering to wander the back lane skyclad. For whatever reason, I sensed that it was a safe time to risk this and it turned out that I was right. Being naked is like allowing one’s body to simply breath freely. And that feeling, is worth its weight in gold – priceless.
